Uncertainty
images: style.com & thecobrasnake
Although the architecture of every piece keeps me on my edge, wanting to see more, I really am uncertain on my feelings on Gareth Pugh. Could it be love? Most likely not. Could it be hate? That seems too strong. Maybe just something so vexatious I can't look away? Could be.

Looks Like Snow at Chanel
Drawing inspiration, maybe, from our current economic crisis, Karl Lagerfeld brought Chanel's 2009 Spring Couture back to basics. Eliminating the "bling-bling," the collection expresses the luxury embedded within simplicity. Karl does it again.
ps: How infatuated are you with those amazingly crafted head pieces?

Living in a Postcard...For a Week
Here are a few pictures from my recent trip to heaven, a.k.a. Hawaii. Arriving in Honolulu to 80+ degree weather last Monday morning jump started an amazing week. The first picture is from our (my boyf accompanied me on this fab journey) day trip to the North Shore. There was supposed to be a surf competiton at Pipeline (the notorious surf beach in picture #1) but I guess the waves weren't big enough...they were still mighty large to me! The second was taken from our *1982 Geo Tracker rental (thats an approximation, but can't be too far off) during a rain storm. The third was at Hanauma Bay Marine Life Preserve. My boyfriend took this, as most people visiting there do, as an amazing chance to snorkle amongst some of the most beautiful fish in existance. I, on the otherhand, was so freaked out by the end of the "welcome, don't hurt our gigantic ass fish" video that I opted out of the snorkling.
*No joke, our rental was ancient, as well as being bright teal and sparkly. It also didn't have a complete roof...hence, we were soaked come the aforementioned rain storm.

Airports in the Morning
After a ridiculously relaxing week in O'ahu, I am back at home and back to the blogging life. Pictures of my trip will follow, but I will say this: I love airports. Especially during red-eye times. Being in an airport most always means you're beginning a new adventure or returning from one--and we all know how I love those adventures. Airports provide a magical feeling, a feeling of anticipation and anxiety mixed into a lovely blend. Ahhh.

Where I Have Been and Where I Am Going
I have been totally M.I.A. from my blogging life for what feels like forever. I have been buried under my blankets nursing a horrible flu and developing a nastier sinus infection. Gross, right? Anywho, I am finally feeling better and I'm wondering if it has a little something to do with a trip to Hawaii on Monday...hum...most likely.
Michael Kors always has a way of making me want to travel, to just drop everything I'm doing and go some where far away at that very moment. Plus, Carmen Kass is so stunning that it can't but inspire one to travel with such flawlessness!
