When Will It Ever End?

This has been a nightmarish week, an honest week from hell. And while I would much love to complain about the details of my life, there are other matters that are more pressing to the fashion world, or the world itself.
As I'm sure we've all been made aware, we have lost one of the most brilliant artistic minds of the time. Since his inception into the fashion world, Alexander McQueen has provided a non-stop flow of inventiveness and creativity that has been the center of attention collection after collection. Will all due respect, Alexander McQueen will be greatly missed.

LG Looks....Pretty?

I have seldom seen Lady Gaga sans performance gear, so when Elle released these photos from an upcoming issue of the magazine, I was pleasantly surprised. LG has taken the world--music, artistic and fashion world--by storm and I do not foresee a slow down anytime soon. Seriously though, who on earth could rock the McQueen collection like she did? Yup, that's what I thought.
On another note, the serious posting slowdown can be blamed on final season. It is that time of the year where I drown my studious stress in egg nog and hide under a rock. Wish me luck!

Are there words to describe Alexander McQueen's show tonight? Reptilian, underwater world, alien-hybrid-creation? In a display of a true performance, McQueen had me blown away. Surely had I been lucky enough to watch in person (rather than on the library computer) I would've gone into cardiac arrest.
