Not Even Wrinkle Cream Will Help Now

image: spinearth
Well, my oh my have I been absent from the blogosphere. And to be honest, I'm not entirely sure when I'll be able to return to a normally functioning blogger, or a normal functioning person for that matter! In recent months, as my graduation date creeps closer, I have become increasing focused on doing everything and anything to prepare myself for that time. Work, interning, studying...simply stretching myself too thin. Or graying my hair too early (thank god that isn't actually true).
Sooo, as a special treat to myself, I am planning a fabulous trip to Coachella 2010. And looking at pictures like the above get me more than excited for my little inner 1970's hippie chic time warp.

Treasure Islander's 2009

Festival goer's from Treasure Island Music Festival 2009. Yes, it is a little late, but never too late, right?
For more photos and videos of performers (including Passion Pit, MGMT and Brazilian Girls!!!) check out SPINearth's coverage.

Before I submit to you yet another excuse (although honestly I'm still lacking inspiration), I will acknowledge that every other blog I've read today offers the same one: school is now is session. Since school has started, and even before that (naturally, in the life of gi), things have been flowing in non-stop. Thursday, after a long day of school, I zoomed back into SF to help out at an event for my internship. SPIN Magazine threw a party for G by Guess and it was fabulous! Loving every minute, it further confirmed that I am headed in the right direction! Plus, my hard work also scored me a ticket to SF Outside Lands. And on continues the busy busy week--but trust me, I am not complaining!
I attended Outside Lands last year and had a complete blast. This year proved no different. Rockin' out to the good tunes of The Morning Benders, Matt and Kim, Atmosphere, M.I.A. and Tenacious D (to name a few)...ahhh. Above are some photos I really like from SPINearth's coverage of the event. Click on the link if you want to see more!
Enjoy!

You SPIN Me Round

Say hello to SPINearth's newest marketing and development intern, yours truly! Today was my first day in the office and loved every minute of it. In just the few hours I spent today with the SPINearth family, I feel like I've already learned SO much. Plus, I got to listen to good tunes all day. Win-win, right? If you haven't heard about this new development from SPIN Magazine, I highly suggest you check it out here!
