images: jazzimcgWhile reading one of my new fav blogs, Jazzi McG, I found these photos from Purple Magazine. At first glance I thought, oh how cute. But just a second later I realized that I was looking at
children. I am the first to admit that I love fashion magazines mostly for their advertisements, but I have to ask, what
are we doing to our children? It is criminal and a real tragedy the way the industry has extended its reach to such a young demographic. Before being able to think entirely freely for themselves and develop their own opinions on what they are being subjected to, we are taking advantage of their innocence and vulnerability--the very essence of childhood.
What do you think?
